二粒小麦(emmer)

小麦属四倍体种，包括野生二粒小麦(Triticum dicoccoides Korn)和栽培二粒小麦Triticum dicoccum Schuebl.。染色体数2n=4x=28，染色体组型为AABB。穗扁平，每小穗结实2粒，穗轴易断，籽粒带皮(稃)。

株高一般80-90cm，易倒伏，穗长9cm左右，具粗糙长芒，护颖质硬，颖脊明显，穗轴节片周围有密毛，小穗基部有长毛。穗轴脆，易逐节自然断落，种子带皮(稃)，不易脱粒，每小穗2-3花，结实两粒，籽粒较长，两端稍尖，硬质，红色或浅红色，蛋白质含量高达24%以上，冬性，变种var.kotschianum具Rf基因，抗条锈病和散黑穗病。

栽培二粒小麦已知有76个变种。多数类型幼苗直立，叶片着生茸毛。株高90-120cm，抗倒伏性不强。穗扁平，长8-10cm，侧面宽于正面；小穗排列紧密，多具长芒，颖脊明显，穗轴较脆，触碰时易断，籽粒较长，红色、硬质。以春性为主，抗锈病、白粉病和散黑穗病，是带皮(稃)小麦在小麦育种中应用较多的种。二粒小麦品种卡普利(Khapli)曾是叶锈病著名的抗源。
