富士”也称斯巴鲁（SUBARU）,于1917年在东京创建富士飞机研究所，1953年成立富士重工。 “斯巴鲁”是牡牛星座昴宿星团（也被称为 “六连星”）名字的日语发音，昂视天空可看到该星团上的六颗星星。由于富士重工是由六家公司合并而成，所以采用了 “六连星”的图案作为商标，象征公司间的紧密团结、共同奋进精神。
关于 “六连星”在希腊神话中有一个神奇的传说：宇宙之主宙斯把顶天巨神阿特拉斯的七个女儿变为鸽子，并把装扮成她们的假人放在那无垠的天空中的昴宿星团上，以保护她们免受猎人奥利安杀害。但令人不解的是，我们只能见到昴宿星团的六颗 星，那第七颗星哪里去了，是否早已被猎人奥利安射杀呢？
