形态特征子实体中等至大型。菌盖直径5-23(30)cm,半球形或扁半球形,后期渐呈扁平,表面初期有微细绒毛或中部有的粗糙似鳞片,后变光滑,湿时粘,暗灰褐色、浅咖啡褐色至浅土黄褐色,边缘平滑或凸凹不平,有的色浅。菌肉白色,后呈乳白色,厚,表皮下稍有褐色,伤处稍变褐色,干燥有愉快之香气味。菌管白色或污白色带黄色,后期管孔带青褐绿色,管长1-3mm,近凹生,管孔细小圆形。菌柄粗壮,长7-18(20)cm,粗3-5(8)cm,近梭形或棒状圆柱形,浅褐色,至浅灰褐色,基部白色且有白色细绒毛。网纹初期白色后变褐色可达柄基部,内部实心。孢子光滑,梭形,浅黄色,13-17.5μm×4-5.5μm。管侧囊体棒状或近圆柱形,或近纺锤形,18-46μm×8-15μm。
