High purity Al2TiO5 powders with anisotropic grain growth were synthesized through the mechanical activated powder mixtures of α-Al2O3 and anatase TiO2 at the condition of relatively low temperature and short plateau time.

磁性材料经冷加工产生滑移而引起的磁各向异性，也称轧制感生各向异性(roll magnetic anisotropy)。它是一种单轴各向异性。材料的塑性变形主要是以滑移方式进行的，晶体滑移过程产生的同类原子对的短程方向有序排列而导致各向异性。在简单的AB型合金中，水平方向上A类原子与B类原子呈AB原子对排列。当受一剪切应力而产生滑移时,A和B原子移动到新的稳定位置,在垂直方向上造成AA和BB原子的有序排列方向（见图），易磁化轴就位于此方向上。50Ni-Fe合金(Isoperm)经90％以上压下率冷轧，所产生的滑移感生各向异性为105erg/cm3量级，这比该合金经磁场热处理得到的各向异性约大50倍(见择优取向)。
