目前世界上球墨离心铸铁管生产主要采用水冷金属型离心铸造法和热模树脂砂(或涂料)衬离心铸造法。水冷金属型离心铸造法生产率高、操作简便、产品表面质量佳、工作环境好,投资较大。欧美及亚洲大部分工厂都采用此种方法。热模树脂砂(或涂料)衬离心铸造法与水冷金属型离心铸造法相比生产率低、操作复杂、产品表面粗糙、工作环境较差,投资较小。这种方法目前在亚洲一些较小工厂应用较多。
