By observing the leaves and the stems with microscope and SEM,it is found that the leaves of light cabbage have the characteristics of thinner blades,emerald green,wider midveins,no wax powder on the surface in appear-ance and thicker tangential wall of upper epidermis cells,less cells of mesophyll,and much more strach grain in plastid.
