| 浅底地层剖面仪 sub-bottom profiler 利用声波探测浅底地层的剖面结构的仪器。探测船在走航过程中，设置在船上或其拖曳体上的换能器向水下铅直发射大功率低频脉冲的声波，抵达水底时，部分反射，部分向地层深处传播，由于地层结构复杂，在不同界面上又都有部分声波被反射，这样，依这些反射界面的特性和深度不同，在船上接收到回波信号的时间和强度也不同，通过对回波信号的放大和滤波等处理后，送入记录器，就可以在移动的干式记录纸上显现不同灰度的点组成的线条，清晰地描绘出地层的剖面结构。 这种仪器是在回声测深仪的基础上发展而成的。探测深度一般为几十米。20世纪60年代后广泛应用于海洋地质调查、港口建设、航道疏浚、海底管线布设、以及海上石油平台建设等方面。具有操作方便、探测速度快，图像连续的特点。 |
