五大连池国家级自然保护区
位于黑龙江省五大连池市境内，面积10.08万公顷，1980年经黑龙江省人民政府批准建立，1996年晋升为国家级，主要保护对象为火山遗迹。
本区地处松嫩平原与大兴安岭的接壤地带，保护区的主体-五大连池火山是我国著名的年轻火山群之一，距今仅有200年历史。区内分布有14座因火山喷发而形成的火山锥体和800多平方公里的熔岩台地和5个串珠状火山堰塞湖。在火山喷溢而形成的玄武岩地上，遗留极其丰富的微地貌景观，如熔岩洞穴、造型各异的熔岩流、喷气锥及火山喷发物火山灰、火山弹等。
五大连池保护区火山资源丰富、完整、集中、典型，火山地质现象齐全，地质景观多样，地貌类型奇特，是一座天然的火山博物馆，具有极高的科研价值和保护意义。此外，保护区内蕴藏有丰富的矿泉水，其类型多，成份复杂，可与国外一些名牌矿泉水相媲美，并对许多疾病有医疗作用。同时保护区内景观奇特，风景优美，因而也是旅游和疗养的胜地。
