禁忌： 育龄妇女。肝、肾功能不全，维生素A过高症，高血脂症。
不良反应： 维生素A过高的症状如唇干、唇炎、口角皲裂、口腔粘膜和移行上皮干燥或发炎。结腊炎、角腊炎、角腊溃疡及不能耐受隐型眼镜。肠道刺激症状。口渴，出汗。可逆性脱发。皮肤变薄及鳞屑。偶有甲沟炎、指甲生长不良，肉芽肿，肌肉、关节、骨骼疼痛。转氨酶及碱性磷酸酶升高，甘油三脂及胆固醇增加，高密度脂蛋白减少。颅内压增高症状如头痛、视觉障碍，骨化过度，骨骼外钙化，骨质变薄，骨质疏松，骨骺线提前闭合。 注意事项
糖尿病、肥胖症、酗酒及脂类代谢障碍者慎用。
药物相互作用： 勿与四环素或维生素A合用。
