1948年Le Mesurier提出后已不断改进。切口在患侧呈“T”形而在健侧呈“L”形(右侧唇裂)或反“L”形(左侧唇裂)，将患侧所形成的矩形瓣插入健侧，此法适用于完全性唇裂以及唇红缘发育较差的病例，但因设计比较复杂，术后可出现上唇过紧、过长或两侧不对称等缺点，目前较少采用。
