苯丙乳液是由苯乙烯和丙烯酸酯单体经乳液共聚而得。乳白色液体，带蓝光。固体含量40～45％，粘度80～1500mPa·s，单体残留量0.5%，PH值8～9。苯丙乳液附着力好，胶膜透明，耐水、耐油、耐热、耐老化性能良好。
苯丙乳液用作纸品胶粘剂，也可与淀粉、聚乙烯醇、羧甲基纤维素钠等胶粘剂配合使用。贮存于5～30 ℃的库房内，贮存期1年。
