清代前期东北地区重镇之一。故址在今黑龙江省依兰县,地当牡丹江与松花江合流处。濒松花江南岸,东临倭肯河,城三面江流环绕,为水陆交通要地。辽为五国城部之越里吉部地,金属胡里改路(今依兰),元于此地设胡里改万户府、斡朵怜万户府(今依兰附近)。明于此地置和屯卫。建州女真曾居此地。清初称此地为和屯噶珊(汉语称古城屯),后因克宜克勒、努雅勒、祜什哈哩三姓赫哲居此,改称依兰哈喇。满语依兰为三,哈喇为姓,故称三姓。后舒穆鲁氏赫哲人又迁来此地。清康熙五十三年(1714),于四姓赫哲中挑放披甲两百名,编为四旗,自吉林乌喇拉(今吉林省吉林市)拣派协领一员统辖。次年筑城驻守,为清代前期东北地区一重镇。雍正五年(1727)置副都统。光绪三十三年(1907),建行省,改将军为总督。三姓亦裁副都统,改设依兰府,隶属东北路兵备道。1913年,改依兰县。今为黑龙江省依兰县治所在地。
