双林风景区位于义乌市佛堂镇，规划面积12平方公里。双林风景区是以佛教名寺为特色，以文化休闲为主体的风景名胜游览区。规划中的双林风景区分为娱乐区、度假区、双林风景区、农庄区五个区。双林寺为浙中名刹，至今已有1500年历史。它是由印度名僧达摩选址、弥勒应身傅大士创庵、历代名僧辈出的古刹。在中日佛教文化史上有着较大的影响，是一处被清代学者誉为“天下第三，江浙第一”的佛教圣地。
