water tight
biqi闭气(water tight)在堵口工程合龙后，采取阻水断流措施，阻止缝隙漏水。 用立堵法合龙，当合龙绿尚未蛰实，坝身仍然漏水，坝后翻花不止，大小远近不一，应辨明是底漏还是腰漏，如是底漏，说明绿体尚未到底，比较严重。闭气方法，一般有:①在正坝堵合后，除合龙蹄上加压土外，于口门坝前加修绿工，称为关门端。然后抛袋土及加修土俄，使之闭气;②双坝合龙时，用边坝合龙闭气，在正坝与边坝之间，用袋土及粘土填筑土柜，边坝之后再加后战，阻止透水;③修筑养水盆，即在坝后修筑围堤一道，把门口冲深的潭坑围起来，用以积蓄坝后渗水，抬高坝后水位与大河相平，即可闭气。对平堵的口门，因抛石渗漏严重，须采用①、②两种闭气办法，截堵渗流。(徐福龄)
