全炮重ｌ２吨，炮班人数５人，火炮由一辆轻型轮式车辆牵引，具有非常好的操作灵活性。火炮为两用后装式线膛炮，进行直接瞄准射击和间接瞄准射击。装有炮口制退器，可配用普通榴弹和迫击炮弹，发射普通榴弹最大射程为８．８千米，发射杀伤爆破迫击炮弹最大射程为７．ｌ千米，发射火箭增程迫击炮弹最大射程为１２．８千米。火炮高低射界为－１０度～＋８０度，方向射界左右各３０度，火炮发射速度８发／分钟，弹药基数８０发。大架架脚借助绞车自动打开和并拢。
