动机强度与活动效率(motivationintensity and aetivity effieieney)动机强度在一定水平之下时，随着动机的增强，活动效率也提高:当动机强度超过一定水平时，随着动机的增强，活动效率反而降低。这一现象最早是由耶基斯和多德森(Y erkes，R.M.和D“d““”，J.D.)发现的，因此也被称为耶基斯一多德森法则。个体在各种活动中，存在着动机的最佳水平，动机强度处于最佳水平时，活动效率最高;低于或超过最佳水平时，活动效率都不高。动机的最佳水平随活动的难易程度而变化，活动简单，动机的最佳水平较高;活动复杂，动机的最佳水平较低。在激发个体的动机时，要了解某种活动中的最佳动机水平，特别注意不要给予过分的压力致使动机过强，这样个体会处于紧张的情绪状态，并使注意力和知觉的广度受到限制，使活动的效率有所降低。 (周国帕撰成立夫审)
