According to the generating mechanism of dynamic false contour in alternating current plasma display panels (AC PDP), a motion image brightness perception model, which coincides with eye-tracing integration effect and subfield partition in AC PDP, was established, and a novel method for evaluating the dynamic false contour based on this model was proposed.
