On the basis of risk analysis, this paper discusses the construction risk under culvert box advancing of pipe-roofing method in soft clay area, including the advancing precisions of pipe-roofing, risk at the exit section, settlement controll and seal, the excavation stability and direction controlling, proposes the corresponding methods of risk prevention.
