This paper, taking Wangmuchi temple in Mountain Tai as center, tries to explain what Wangmuchi is and then further explore the idiosyncrasy of Wangmuchi as a temple, which is sacredness.

Based on the field investigation of Xiyue Temple located in Western Henan Province,and a survey made about the legends of temple and the miraculous stories in the villages,this paper makes an analysis and exploration of the belief continuity shown in the various legends and miraculous stories,as well as the farmers′ choice of meaning world and their behavior standards influenced by such belief.

There are many moraine slopes which are high and steep along the north bank of Purlung Tsangpo River because of construction of Sichuan-Tibet Highway.

The research area is located at the head area of Urumqi Rjver，above 3000m and in al-pine periglacial environment．On the moraines of the Last Glaciation and Neo一glaciation al-pine meadow soils develop from 3000 to 3700 m.

This paper is intended to present a preliminary model of transfo(?) mation from moraine to the deposits of glacial debris flow, to describe the distinguishing marks between the two types of deposits, and to compare and study some characteristics of granularity, light and heavy mineral, clay mineral and gravel fabric of them.

In this paper,an improved model with upswing numerical solution,model assumption and model structure for estimating ice ablation under a debris cover is proposed to present a robust model and to reduce the errors as compared with the previous models.

In this paper a simple numerical model is developed to estimate the ice ablation under a debris cover on the basis of heat transfer theory and energy conservation theory.

Analyses on the outputs show that net radiation is the primary heat source, and the heat absorbed in the debris cover is lost mainly in the form of sensible heat and latent heat for moisture and heat .
