冰碛 glacial drift 在冰川作用过程中,所挟带和搬运的碎屑构成的堆积物。又称冰川沉积物。冰川的沉积方式有3类 :冰川冰沉积;冰川冰与冰水共同作用形成的冰川接触沉积;冰河、冰湖或冰海形成的冰水沉积。冰碛物分为:含于冰川底部的底碛;含于冰川内部的内碛;含于冰川表层的表碛;含于冰川体两侧的侧碛;两条冰川汇合后,介于两冰川间的中碛;冰川冰与水接触部分的融出碛;冰川冰外围,河、海水搬运的冰碛物,称冰水沉积物。冰川冰沉积物可以形成终碛垄、侧碛垄和冰碛丘陵堆积地貌。冰川冰的冰碛物与部分冰水堆积物可形成鼓丘和槽碛垄。冰川冰与水的接触沉积物可形成蛇形丘、冰砾阜和冰砾阜阶地。冰水堆积物可形成冰水平原和冰水堆积阶地。
