According to the practical construction condition of 11# pier for Changjiang Railway Bridge in Yichang,the article introduces the sinking and the transverse stopping-water construction technologies of no-sealed concrete double-wall steel cofferdam with uneven cutting edges.

With the improved and innovated techniques,such as the utilization of irregular shape and unequal height cutting edges for a double-wall steel cofferdam,the problem of positioning the cofferdam on steep riverbed is satisfactorily resolved.
