昆曲、京剧业余演员。满族，姓爱新觉罗，名溥侗，字后斋，别署红豆馆主。精于文物鉴赏，通晓词章音律，最喜戏曲,刻苦练功,遍访名师，京、昆文武各行的演唱和伴奏无所不能。昆曲学自梅雨田、陈寿峰，把子功及京剧文武老生戏学自姚增禄。《长生殿·弹词》、《铁冠图·别母、乱箭》以及京剧《定军山》、《连营寨》、《琼林宴》等,都保存了当年谭鑫培的风范。旦角戏《金山寺》之《水斗、断桥》受自陈德霖;小生戏《牡丹亭·拾画》、《镇潭州》等为王楞仙所传。在《奇双会》一剧中,兼擅赵宠、李桂枝、李奇三个角色;在《群英会》中能扮演周瑜、鲁肃、蒋干三个不同人物。他精通古典文学，具有多方面的艺术才能，戏曲上博采众长，对所演的剧情文词有深刻理解，对不同人物的心情神态体现得维妙维肖。嗓音虽不甚浏亮，但唱念韵味醇厚。言菊朋、李万春及业余演员叶仰曦等曾师事之。晚年组织昆曲、京剧业余团体"言乐会"。曾在北京清华大学、女子文理学院、北京美术学校等处任教，推广昆曲。
