| 巴米扬石窟 B  my n Caves公元3～7世纪开凿的佛教石窟。位于今阿富汗兴都库什山中，共凿有大小石窟约 750 个。其洞窟样式有佛龛窟、僧房窟、会堂窟。主窟群左右两端的窟状窟中各有一巨大的石雕立佛，分别高53米和35米，大佛身着通肩袈裟，薄衣贴体，犹如曹衣出水，神态庄重，气势雄浑。佛像面部及脚部已被毁损。在大佛窟龛的壁上及其他50余个洞窟中绘有壁画，内容有佛涅槃、供养人、环形连珠纹图案等，构图富于变化，其窟顶画形式尤为多样。壁画和雕像的风格均受波斯萨珊王朝艺术的影响， 而印度和西方的艺术亦对其有一定影响。8世纪初随着当地的伊斯兰化， 巴米扬石窟遭到了极大破坏。随着佛教的东渐，巴米扬石窟的艺术特点对中国新疆等地的石窟有明显的影响。
