赣东北构造带中的“放射虫硅质岩”主要分布于樟树墩—茅桥一带的赣东北蛇绿杂岩带之张村群中,与周边岩石地层呈断层接触关系,矿物成分和化学成分一致显示为泥质硅质岩,岩石遭受低级绿片岩相区域变质作用的改造,与泥质千枚岩、变质火山岩、蛇绿岩密切共生,含有“可疑的”晚古生代放射虫化石;茅口(孤峰)组硅质岩遍布于赣东北—皖南广大地区,整合于乐平组煤系地层之下、小江边组灰岩之上,具稳定的层位压盖关系,矿物成分和化学成分反映为纯硅质岩,岩石无变质重结晶现象,与碳质泥岩、灰岩互层,含大量的、珊瑚及腕足类化石,地层时代为二叠纪。

张村,村名。古称润田。位于祁门县西5公里,属灯塔乡。随未。唐代诗人张志和高祖张孤任饶州刺史,后弃官居黟县赤山镇(今祁门县祁山镇)。897年因兵燹移居镇西润田,后人遂名张村。张村门首朝山,山势平缓,形如席帽。村前有醴泉一口,水味香恬,泉上架亭,亭额为"玄真泉"三字。村后小塘湾建有御书楼,号称"小壶淫水口溪上有桥,桥上建亭九间,绘润田八景于内。村口两溪相会,两岸鱼池12座。村中有思别堂、梅椿书舍,思别堂为思念张志和而建,为祭祀之所;梅椿书舍为张志和读书处,右有古梅一株,人称"识时梅"。唐宋两代张村繁盛一时,"岁时佳会,远近咸集;雕车文驷,充溢里巷;明簪华黻,焕然轩窗"。
