By adopting low-strength HPC combined with permeable formwork and protective coatings for marine engineering with consideration of the construction conditions,the durability of gravity wharf is improved under the prerequisite of reasonableness and economicalness.

Experimental research on the surface strength,water absorption,carbonation depth and ability of chloride penetration-resistance of concrete pouring with normal formwork and permeable formwork respectively are carried out.

The research shows that permeable formwork can obviously improve the surface quality and durability of concrete.

Study on surface quality of concrete improved by infiltrating formwork texture;

The application of Formtex~(~(○R)) infiltrating formwork texture to construction of pier shafts can improve visual quality of the pier shafts,reduce w/c ratio in the surface concrete of the shafts,enhance corrosion resistance capacity of the concrete,and the texture has very good vista of application.

The pore size distribution of controlled permeability formwork liner(CPFL) was measured by the suction plane table according to negative pressure method which can be compared with the calculation model based on the theory of Poisson polyhedron.

According to the research and design of liner material in progress,the paper describes the controlled permeability formwork including its technology origin,present situation of the application in domestic and abroad,and the latest research of controlled permeability formwork liner material and construction method in China,and then proposes testing scheme of evaluating the use of the results.
