Based on code for design of steel structures GB50017-2003 and using the three column subassemblage model,a governing equation for determining the effective length factor (μ-factor) of columns for non-sway semi-rigid composite frames was derived considering the effects of the nonlinear moment rotation characteristics of beam-to-column connections and composite action of slab.
本文基于钢结构设计规范GB50017-2003,利用三柱子框架模型,考虑了连接的非线性弯矩-转角关系和楼板组合效应的影响,推导了无侧移半刚性连接组合框架柱的有效长度系数方程式,同时考虑了梁端和柱远端不同约束情况对有效长度系数的影响。

To study the effects of moment-rotation characteristics of connections and load magnitude on the behavior of composite frames, nonlinear finite element method is presented considering the effects of the moment-rotation characteristics of beam-to-column connections, composite action of slab and geometric nonlinearity.
