In light of functional structural characteristics of modern colleges and universities,the article illustrates several problems should be noticed in modern campus planning,in order to control campus construction with the method of planning,promote rationality of campus construction,create human-oriented campus environment and gain its sustainable development.

Five aspects of holding loci characteristics and general planning, probing the connotation of campus culture, organizing environmental space patterns, following and inheriting the historical context of the old and new campus and creating a sustainably developmental green campus environment endowed with the concept of modern colleges and universities are discussed.

This paper discusses the integrated management of the modern university library, in particular,giving importance to not only internal resources management such as human,material and information resources,but also external resources management like users and profits.
