论述了雪峰山西北部喜眉山逆冲—推覆构造的几何学、运动学特征，并用方解石ｅ双晶求得逆冲—推覆构造断层岩形成时的差异应力为１００～１２５ＭＰａ，变形温度为１５０～２００℃，逆冲作用主要发生于燕山运动时期。

大雪峰距芦山县50公里，海拔5364米，终年积雪，山势险峻，雄伟壮观，幽谷青溪，高山湖泊，宁静美丽。是距成都较近的观光赏雪的旅游区。杜鹃林有成片杜鹃林带（１千多亩），位于灵鹫山下，四周原始森林和灌木丛生，春季红、黄、紫、白色30多种杜鹃花，争艳盛开，秋天满山红叶，层林尽染，奇丽壮观。在灵鹫山景区悬崖地带，山石裸露，松攀峭壁，多姿的黄山松相映成景，略显黄山风貌。穿过一段峡谷，进入汇源桥，山势陡然增峻，山封林密，微见漂涉天际。这就是南天门。这里海拔2800米，积雪半年，雪厚0.5－1米之间，游人滑雪，登山至顶，天际豁然开朗，蓝天白云，大雪峰巍然屹立，雄伟壮观。位于南天门之下的群瀑之一的飞人瀑布从山崖飞流直下，形成左右分流，形如“人”字，好似神笔书法苍劲有力。沿黄水河东岸而上，回首南山，形如象头，名曰象头山。象耳、象鼻，好似精工雕作、栩栩如生。
