This paper presents the important achievements of the safeguarding of stress corrosive cracking of ammonia spherical tank,the building of protective cofferdam and the continuous detecting and monitoring systems engineering against the leaking of ammonia spherical tank.

<Abstrcat>The cost to construct the permanent engineering, which is for preventing the bank from flood using current normal method of construction on riverbed made of sand,is too high to be accepted.
