（真言）又云无堪忍大护明。诵此真言者与如来等，具大力，能护持其身，故云大力大护。又，此真言，威光猛盛，如小儿之眼不堪烈日之光，故云无堪忍。大疏九曰：“尔时世尊。（中略）发普遍一切如来法界哀愍无余众生界音声，说持明法句。若我所言诚实不虚者，其有诵持习令其势力与我无异，故名大力大护明妃也。”同十三曰：“此名无堪忍大护，由彼威光猛盛，如初生小儿不堪初日之光，此亦如是。一切不能堪忍而睒夺之者，故名无堪忍大护，以此护真言之行者也。”
