所谓直接甲醇燃料电池(direct methanol fuel cell),它属於质子交换膜燃料电池(pemfc)中之一类,系直接使用液态甲醇为燃料供给来源,而不需透过重组器重组甲醇、汽油及天然气等再取出氢以供发电。相较於质子交换膜燃料电池(pemfc) ,直接甲醇燃料电池 (dmfc) 低温生电、燃料成分危险性低与生电结构简单等特性使直接甲醇燃料电池 (dmfc)成为可携式电子产品应用的主流。
