性质:又称介质损耗角正切,介电损耗角正切。表征电介质材料在施加电场后介质损耗大小的物理量,以tgδ表示,δ是介电损耗角。它表征每个周期内介质损耗的能量与其贮存能量之比。高分子材料多系绝缘性好的材料,广泛的用于电子及电工行业。使用时不希望绝缘材料本身能量损耗大,因而测量出介质损耗因数就能评价材料的介质本身能量损耗。工业上多选用介质损耗因数小的高分子材料作为绝缘材料。通常极性橡胶的tanδ比非极性橡胶的大。它还与试验采用的频率、温度紧密相关。在一定温度下,只有在某一频率范围内,分子偶极取向虽可追随电场变化,但不完全同步,有部分电能被吸收而发热,tanδ出现最大值。同样在一定频率下,惟有某一温度区域内tanδ才会出现极大值,当频率升高时,介质损耗峰移向高温端。
