性质描述: 强碱性的粘性液体或结晶。溶于水和醇,不溶于醚。在酸性溶液中对热稳定,在空气中易吸收二氧化碳,吸水性极强,遇热分解。味辛而苦。50%水溶液相对密度1.073,折光率1.4304。
生产方法: 由甲醛经氯化铵甲基化得到三甲胺后,再与环氧乙烷加成而得胆碱。

用途: 有机合成中间体;用于生化研究。
