佳木斯空港口岸是1992年12月经中国国务院批准对外开放的国家一类口岸。
该机场位于佳木斯市东郊9公里处，占地面积为4.8平方公里，东西长约3000米，南北宽约1600米。新建2500米长，45米宽的跑道，可以起降麦道82、波音737等中型客机。停机坪100×180平方米，可同时停放c类飞机两架，b类飞机一架。机场内有先进的通讯导航雷达、助航灯光、供电供水、消防救援、储油供油等设备，并且净空条件良好。机场还新建候机楼一座，总面积5728平方米，内设有出入境旅检场地、查验现场工作间等配套设施。
目前，已开通佳木斯至北京等多条国内航线及佳木斯至俄罗斯哈巴罗夫斯克临时包机航班。
