| 飞机识别标志 aircraft insignia 在飞机的明显位置喷涂的表明飞机所属国籍或团体的标志。军用飞机以国旗或军徽为识别标志。第一次世界大战时，英国首先在作战飞机的翼底两端各涂上一面联合王国国旗，随后，各参战国也均在自己的参战飞机上涂上特殊的国籍标志。中国人民解放军空军飞机的识别标志为内有金色“八一”两字的红五星军徽，两侧辅以两根红色长条。1919年在巴黎签订的《关于航空管理的公约》对签约国的民航飞机规定了国别代号，到1944年在芝加哥签订《国际民用航空公约》时，又作了一次修订，美国的代号为N，英国的为G，法国的为F，日本的为JA，中国的为B。中国的民航飞机还在垂直尾翼上涂有一面中华人民共和国国旗。除国籍识别标志外，军用飞机还有航空队标志、战功标志、甚至飞行员的专用飞机标志；民航飞机还有航空公司标志和编号标志以及应急、救护等小标记。飞机的识别标志并非一成不变，往往因所属国的政体改变或其他需要，时有更改。
