刹车目前有碟刹和鼓刹,老一些的车很多都是前碟后鼓的。现在的车很多前后都是碟刹的。因为碟刹的制动效果好。散热好。价格也比鼓刹贵。所以现在很多低档的车子仍用鼓刹。碟刹的刹车盘就是一个园的盘子,车子行进时它也是转动的。刹车片就是两片夹住刹车盘的东西。它是固定的。踩刹车时就是它夹住刹车盘起到减速或者停车的作用。
鼓刹是密封的,形状像鼓状,在国内也有很多叫刹车锅。行车时它是转动的。鼓刹里边固定有两个弧形或者是半圆的刹车片。踩刹车时两个刹车片用力外张,摩擦着刹车鼓的内壁来起到减速或者停车的作用。
