The paper studies the scour and fill of Lanzhou-Bayangaole section by firstly using the proportionality L of the total volume of coming sediment of channel time interval and mean discharge of time interval as intermediate volume for discriminating the scour and fill of channel in the light of the present status of uneven runoff and sediment of the Yellow River.
