Tulipa gesneriana;tulip

   百合科郁金香属的一种。一种庭园中广为栽培的美丽花卉。原产小亚细亚,早期输入欧洲,尤以荷兰栽培最盛,品种也极多,中国庭园也有引种栽培。通常用鳞茎繁殖,鳞茎外面复以薄的、皮纸质的鳞茎皮,皮内近基部与上端有少数伏毛。叶3~5枚,披针形至近卵形,先端略有少数毛。花葶从叶丛中抽出,高20~35厘米,通常顶生单朵花;花大,艳丽,钟形,仰立,有红、黄、白等色,或间有彩条或中心略带黑紫色;花被片6,离生,长5~7厘米,内轮3片比外轮3片略宽而短;雄蕊6,通常深紫色;子房上位,柱头鸡冠状,直接生于子房顶端。春夏间开花。
