性质:又称美国鹅掌楸内酯。长菱形片状结晶(无水乙醇)。熔点181℃(分解)。旋光度+260°(c=1.0,苯),+249°(c=4.8,氯仿)。存在于木兰科植物美国鹅掌楸(Liriodendron tulipifera L.)的根皮,蛇苔科植物蛇苔(Conocephalum conicum(L.),Dumort.)配子体等植物中。本品对人鼻咽癌KB细胞的ED50为0.46μg/ml。
