The fluorene derivatives containing imino groups,N-(2,7-dibromo-9-fluorenylidene)aniline(NBFA),4-chloro-N-(2,7-dibromo-9-fluorenylidene)aniline(CNBFA) and N-(2,7-dibromo-9-fluorenylidene)-4-methylaniline(NBFMA) as novel luminescent compounds were synthesized by the reaction of 2,7-dibromofluorenone and corresponding aniline derivatives.
