This thesis discusses the problems of maritime English teaching from different aspects, such as professional education、establishment of maritime English teachers、teaching syllabus、communication between teachers and between universities and so on.
随着航海英语教学日益受到重视,各航海院校纷纷采取措施加强各自的航海英语教学工作,本文拟从职业教育、航海英语教师队伍建设、教学大纲和学术交流等方面分析当前我国各航海院校在航海英语教学方面存在的问题,并针对上述问题提出了改进的建议。

To meet the requirements of the rapid expanding and fast growing of modern shipping enterprise, the International Maritime Organization (IMO) has advocated to regard the training of seafarers with strong English communicative competence as the focus of Maritime English teaching.
为了适应日益扩大和迅速发展的现代国际航运业的要求，国际海事组织提出“培养具有较强交际能力的高素质外派船员是航海英语教学的重点”，并且在考核体系和教学过程等方面都提出了明确的规定和要求，整个世界航海英语的教学正由传统教学法向交际式教学法过渡。

According to the requirements of STCW78/95 for the English competence of the seamen,and based on the regulation for the training and certificate issuing among its member countries,the current situation of maritime English teaching is analyzed,and guided by STCW78/95 the improving measures of maritime English teaching are put forward.
根据STCW78/95公约对航海人员的英语要求,以及公约对各成员国在培训、发证等方面的规定,对航海英语教学的现状进行了分析,并提出了在公约的指导下航海英语教学的改进措施。
