海运条款是船舶保险合同中的一个基本条款。我国参照国际海上保险惯例，亦在船舶保险条款中规定了海运条款。其主要目的是要求被保险船舶不能从事海上拖带或救助服务；不得与他船（非港口或沿海使用的小船）在海上直接装卸货物，包括驶近、停靠和离开；禁止被保险船舶从事为拆船或为拆船出售目的的航行。在此限制范围内，除非被保险人事先征得保险人的同意，并接受修改后的承保条件及加付所需的保险费，或者对于为了拆船或为拆船而出售的航行另行投保航次保险时，保险人承担保险责任。否则，因此造成的损失和对第三人的责任，保险人不负责任。
