美国发明家。1889年7月30日生于俄国的米罗姆（今弗拉基米尔省）,卒于1982年7月29日。1912年于彼得堡工学院毕业后，到巴黎法兰西学院攻读研究生。1919年到达美国，1924年加入美国籍。1923～1929年任西屋电气公司研究员。1926年获美国匹兹堡大学博士学位,1938年获布鲁克林工业学院理学博士学位。1929年在美国无线电公司任职，1947年任副总经理。1954～1962年在纽约洛克菲勒学院医学电子学中心任主任。兹沃雷金的研究范围广泛，包括电子学、电视、电子光学、光电管、真空电子管、无线电传真等,共获专利120多项。1923年取得电子电视摄像管（光电摄像管）专利，1925年取得全电子彩色电视系统专利。1931年研制出电视显像管，兹沃雷金是美国科学院院士、美国工程科学院院士、科学学会的委员。曾获莫里斯·利布曼奖金、荣誉奖章、朗福德奖章、总统功勋证书、国家科学奖章。
