十二栏杆
十二栏杆是香格里拉县境内古道上著名的一段险峻的石壁凿石小道，距香格里拉县城70公里，位于香格里拉县虎跳峡镇内。这里是茶马古道的艰险之地，是滇藏公路通车以前出入香格里拉的必经要塞。
十二栏杆系凿石而行的古释道，人行其中，一边是悬崖，一边是深涧，且有十二道迂回曲折之处，行人至此，不敢上下顾盼，甚至屏息而过。古人还传说十二栏杆山洞中有大蟒，有行人过来，就窜出将其吞噬，所以少有人能安全通过，十二栏杆因这般险峭而被民间称为“阴阳界”。但这个“阴阳界”中却又出现了一种人类受护佑的希望，即观音在此显化，现像于壁岩上，灭除了巨蟒，保住了许多行人。从此又称十二栏杆为观音崖。
后人根据这个传说，真的在石壁上刻画了一幅观音像，行人在胆战心惊中看到这样一副慈善护佑的菩萨像，心中就会安稳得多，不知不觉也就过了这个阴阳界。十二栏杆的凿石刻文者是历代到香格里拉上任或随行而来的内地汉人或商贾，这就使十二栏杆成为内地与藏区关系的见证。滇藏公路修通后，往返藏区的人再不用在悬崖绝壁间的这条凿石小道上心惊胆战地行走了，但人们忘不了它。
十二栏杆就在国道214道旁边，可乘车至土官村，过了冲江河，往西北方向行走约2小时即可到达，往返可在一日之内。
