| 文化景观 cultural landscape 在自然环境中经过人类活动而获得明显的新特征的景观。与自然景观相对，它反映了不同区域的地理特性。如蒙古族民居蒙古包就是一文化景观，它取材于羊毛等自然物，但已具有明显的人类活动特征，并反映了半干旱草原环境中游牧经济的区域地理特征。 文化景观一词在20世纪20年代便开始使用，美国加利福尼亚大学C.O.索尔教授在1927年发表了《文化地理的新近发展》，文中首次明确定义了文化景观，即“附加在自然景观上的人类活动形态”。 文化景观的形成是一个长期的过程，自人类产生后，尤其是农业出现之后，地球上才逐步留下文化的印迹。尽管地球上已不存在不为人类活动所影响的自然空间，但是严格来说，只有具备具体可视的物质文化形态之景观才是文化景观。由于一个地区的文化景观往往是在不同历史时期由各种文化叠置而成的，因此美国地理学者提出“相继占用”的概念，主张用一个地区在历史上遗留下来的不同文化特征来说明地区文化景观的演变。 文化景观的形成是多种因素综合作用的结果，如经济因素、政治因素、历史因素、心理因素等，评价文化景观必须基于对上述诸因素的分析。文化景观主要包括城市、乡村等聚落形态、田野道路等土地利用形态及民居、寺庙等建筑形态。因此，对文化景观的研究有助于了解人类利用和改造自然的不同态度和不同成就，有助于了解人类文化的空间差异，甚至可以反映出形成区域文化的自然历史背景。 |
