| 《长生殿》 中国清代传奇作品。洪昇著。描写唐明皇（李隆基）和杨贵妃（杨玉环）的爱情故事。唐明皇和杨贵妃死后不久，白居易就写下了动人诗篇《长恨歌》，并有传奇小说《长恨歌传》。宋元南戏和元杂剧中也有十数种以此为题材的作品，以元代白朴的杂剧《梧桐雨》最为著名。洪昇正是在此基础上创作的。《长生殿》爱情悲剧的美学价值，不仅在于它揭示了这一悲剧的必然结果，而且细腻地描写了为获得真正的爱情而付出的惨重代价。洪昇笔下的杨玉环，被赋予了时代的新的美的气质，使观众为之同情和叹息，产生了巨大的悲剧力量，取得了在戏曲领域中超越前人的艺术成就。《长生殿》同时又是一部时代悲剧。安史之乱，李隆基负有不可推卸的责任，但作者以“情悔”，借爱情悲剧反映时代悲剧；时代悲剧又铸成了爱情悲剧，这正是洪昇驾驭历史题材的高明之处。《长生殿》曲词优美，历来为人称道。清代曲家赞誉《长生殿》为千百年来“曲中巨擘”。
