鼓楼分布于平阳乡、陇城等地,是侗族人民的特有建筑。平面为方形,纯木结构,重叠檐楼,有二至十一层不等,用八、九、十、十六或十八柱组合而成,高达40米,屋顶变化丰富多彩,翘有各种飞禽走兽饰,封檐板和屋内大梁多施彩绘,结构严谨,造型美观。形状很象个胖胖的宝塔;属省重点文物保护单位。
