| 舍蝇 Musca domestica vicina 蝇科家蝇亚科昆虫的一种。又称窄额家蝇。在中国分布甚广（见图）。舍蝇繁殖力极强而快，因各地气候、温度、食物等环境不同，整个发育所需时间也长短不一。自卵孵化至成虫，约需8～14天。卵结集成块。幼虫杂食性，滋生习性极复杂，一般滋生于人畜粪中和腐败的动植物中，如果环境适宜，一星期左右即至干燥的缝穴或钻入土中化蛹。蛹与幼虫均能越冬，一般以蛹越冬。成虫耐寒力极强，当秋后气温下降、多数蝇类消灭后，舍蝇仍能继续活动和繁殖。舍蝇因有边吃边排泄的习性，因此，凡可由口腔进入人体的病原体，均可由舍蝇传播。
