| 教练员 coach 直接指导运动员训练、竞赛的工作人员，运动队的组织管理人员。教练员的中心任务是培养造就优秀运动员，在重大比赛中带领运动队。教练员要做好以下工作：选调运动员和组建运动队；制定训练计划；组织运动员训练的全部过程；制定比赛计划，指挥运动员比赛活动；检查监督运动员作息制度执行情况；对运动员进行教育，培养良好的道德品质和训练、比赛作风。教练员水平的高低关系着运动员的成长和成材，为此作为一个教练员应当具备下列条件：要有牢固的事业心和责任感，爱护和理解运动员；不仅精通本专项的训练理论、实践知识和运动技能，而且应当掌握广博的体育科学理论；具有丰富的思维想象能力，善于观察、发现训练中的问题，并迅速找到解决问题的办法；具有创新精神和科研能力；能够结合本队实际不断改进训练方法；具有对运动员身体条件，身体素质，技术、战术发展潜力和心理品质方面的预测能力；懂得科学选材方法；有较强的组织管理能力 ，严谨的工作作风，善于控制自己的情绪，能沉着镇定地指挥比赛。 |
