| 毛蠓科 Psychodidae 双翅目长角亚目的一科。俗称蝶蛉、蛾蝇或毛蛉。与白蛉科极近缘。体小，翅展很少超过 8 毫米 ，体表遍生鳞毛，似蝶、蛾。体色一般灰至暗褐。幼虫常孳生于下水道的淤泥中，也可孳生于坑厕，化粪池，富于有机物质的垃圾池内的污水中，有时在居室内下水道的存水隔臭的弯管中也有孳生。常见种有白斑蝶蛉和星毛蛉两种，世界性分布。两种成虫均可侵入室内，大量发生时，颇令人厌恶。由于它孳生在污秽场所，也可能成为病原微生物的携带者。另外有关于它的幼虫引起尿道、气管和眼的蝇蛆症的报告。 |
